ImportantChari's direct cost, where applicable, will be passed on to our BaaS partners for offering these services to their clients.

How the partnership works

A simple, transparent access model, with revenue aligned to your success.

Your access cost

  • Each service shows Chari's real cost and Chari's retail price — no hidden margin.
  • You access a licensed, ready-to-use banking infrastructure with no infrastructure cost to bear.
  • One transparent, predictable price model per service.

Win-win partnership

  • You charge your customers above your direct cost, where applicable.
  • Your retail prices are based on a floor price, which is Chari's retail price offered to its own customers.
  • Chari's direct cost and retail prices may change; BaaS partners are notified 60 days in advance to align on retail prices and cost settlement.

A partnership, not a vendor

The access cost covers running the service; our shared growth makes your success ours. On top-up, your revenue is direct (3.5%).

01

Accounts, cash & transfers

Onboarding, wallet funding, withdrawals and money movement. The everyday rails your customers will use most.

1–2

Accounts, wallets & KYC/KYB

Per-operation pricing. Chari's cost and retail price for each item (incl. tax, billed monthly).

KYB (company)3.60 MADFreebilled monthly

* These costs apply only to accounts opened outside the scope of the setup-fee agreement.

Free to Chari's customers

Chari offers these services free to its own customers, so there is no retail floor here. You pay only Chari's cost (billed monthly) and remain free to price your customers as you wish.

3

Cash-in (account funding)

A user tops up their own wallet by bank card. Separate domestic / international pricing (incl. tax).

Cash-in typeChari cost (TTC)Chari retail price (TTC)Note
Wallet cash-in — domestic (user card)0.55%Freecard-to-wallet
Wallet cash-in — international (user card)3.5%Freecross-border · cost waived until Oct 2026

Distinct from Chari Pay

Cash-in funds the user's own wallet. Chari Pay (online acquiring) instead collects payments from the partner's customers.

Free to Chari's customers

Chari offers wallet cash-in free to its own customers, so there is no retail floor. You pay only Chari's cost and price your customers freely.

3bis

Payment link

Pay another wallet through a shareable link. Separate domestic / international pricing (incl. tax).

Payment link — domestic0.55%1.001%pay another wallet
Payment link — international3.5%3.5%cross-border · cost waived until Oct 2026

How it works

The payer settles a shareable link; funds land in the recipient's wallet. Chari's retail price is its price to its own customers and your floor — any margin above it is yours, a win-win partnership.

4

Network cash-out — Damane & Chaabi

Per-tier pricing at agent networks (incl. tax). You price at or above Chari's retail floor.

BAM constraint

Network cash-in cannot be charged to the end customer: regulation requires offering it free to the depositor. It remains a network access cost, billed to the partner — there is no retail price to set here.

5

Wallet-to-wallet & bank transfers

Free to your customers; Chari bears a small cost only on off-us wallet transfers (incl. tax).

Free to Chari's customers

Chari offers transfers free to its own customers, so there is no retail floor. Chari's cost on an off-us wallet transfer is 0.30 MAD (SWAM); bank transfers via SIMT are free. You price your customers freely.

Money transfer — wallet to agency

For partners, money transfer runs wallet-to-agency: the sender funds it from their own wallet, and the recipient withdraws the cash at a Chari agency.

Entry point — the wallet

The sender funds the transfer from their own wallet — no cash is deposited at an agency.

The wallet cash-in leg is free.

Exit point — the agency

The recipient withdraws the cash at a Chari agency.

Chari pays the agency its cash-out cost.

Orchestrates & keeps the margin

Chari runs the rail and bears the liquidity risk.

It keeps the net margin between the retail price and the agency cost.

Reading the customer grid below

The table below shows the customer-facing wallet-to-agency grid. The wallet cash-in leg is free; the customer pays only the cash-out at the agency, priced at the Chari retail floor. Chari's own cash-out cost is set by each agency and varies, so it is not shown.
